Alpiq Anlagentechnik Gruppe (AAT), Heidelberg: Alpiq also holding talks on the sale of EST business

On 1 July 2011, as part of its reorganisation and with a view to gaining greater financial flexibility, Alpiq announced its intention of initiating negotiations on the sale of Heidelberg-based Alpiq Anlagentechnik Gruppe (AAT). In the course of the bid-based selling procedure, Alpiq is also looking to sell the AAT Group's energy supply technology (EST) business. Alpiq is holding talks in this regard but does not wish to make any further comments at this juncture.
